Chapter 5_LISTENING

The purposes and payoffs of listenings are:
-Listening
-Relating
-Influencing
-Paying
-Helping
There are also 5 stages of listening process:

1) Receiving
2) Understanding
3) Remembering
4) Evaluating
5) Responding

This story are happened when i was in UiTM. When the forest back of SRI GADING was giving an instructions to be cutted, there are so many myths story that i heard. Ok, it was good because at the back of Gading the forest had to b cut, this is because we as a student who live at that forest were not feel afraid to go to the toilet or do other things at night. When the trees had been cutted, there are a lot of things had happened such as one week the whole Gading doesn't have any water, so we need to take the water at surau downstairs at level 1. We need to carried the pail full with water upstairs to level 5. It makes us feel exhausted. I heard a lot of people said about this problems. Others said that this is because of the instructions at the back of Gading. Some said that 'things' who live in that jungle want to find a new place for them. So, at first i received the myths story. Then i make myself understand by watching and heard the things happened at hostel. When i feel that story was stick in my head, i keep on remembering that 'they' need a new place. So, when it stick in my head i had respond to the myths whereby, i follow my sisters back home everyday without thinking the consequences. When i come back to Gading, i feel very uncomfortable because i actually feel afraid to what people had said. Until now, i don't like to live at hostel because of a lot of stories i heard about lived at hostel. I know, it make myself unindependent but what to do..............
